Notes from the taper
I expected a lot of loud, drunk and chatty neighbors but there is little of that. Maybe we middle aged fogies are getting too old for that sort of thing. The lady next to me clapped a bit occasionally, but not much. "I'm Still Standing" was broadcast on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve 2015 hosted by Ryan Seacrest. Before going to the national TV feed, Elton had a minute to kill, so he sang what I think is an improvised song about loving NYC. After midnight, Elton brought his cousin Haley from the audience up to the stage to celebrate her engagement that night. I captured almost the entire show on HD video and this will be uploaded next. You can watch on the YouTube link below.
