The show was broadcasted on radio.
The files came from the boot "Dressing Up For A Day Out".
Even incomplete, it's one of the best (if not THE best) boot of The Cure (one of my favorite for sure) : the sound (soundboard quality), the feeling and joy of the audience, the final with Porl on "End" (he wasn't on The Cure at this date, but with Page And Plant the same day of the festival)...Enjoy and share !!

I have two tapes from this performance, both taped straight from FM. The first one, from the KRO "Rocktempel" radio broadcast on August 31, 1985 includes tracks 1, 2, 9, and 8 . This recording was seeded here before in September 2007. The second tape, from the KRO "Leidsekade Live" Radio 3FM broadcast on October 27, 1996 only includes tracks 6, and 1. It has not been shared anywhere before.
And furthermore, back in June 2007 I downloaded another source from this same place, which was "recorded in the 80's" and includes tracks 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, and 8. That set is included here as well, complete and unaltered. Thanks again to the original seeder!
So, from the 12-track setlist we now have 7 tracks: 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 8, and 9.
Bon Jovi - 1987-06-20 - Irvine, CA (FM/FLAC)
(FM broadcast FLAC)
Artist: Bon Jovi
Date: June 20th, 1987
Venue: Irvine Meadows Amphitheatre
Location: Irvine, CA, USA
Transfer notes:
Unknown (probably very low) cassette generation --> Nakamichi DR-3 --> Audacity (FLAC export w/ compression level 8 )
01 - Pink Flamingos
02 - Raise Your Hands
03 - I'd Die For You
04 - Tokyo Road
05 - Jon talking #1
06 - You Give Love A Bad Name
07 - Wild In The Streets
08 - Jon talking #2
09 - Twist & Shout
10 - Never Say Goodbye
11 - Livin' On A Prayer
NOTE:
I had never heard about this show until a friend of mine found the tape on ebay and another one bought it and was kind it enough to send it over. This one comes from the Soundboard, I honestly have no further information as to whether it was a FM broadcast or if it leaked some other way. The quality is very good and actually improves to (almost) excellent after "Raise Your Hands". When transferring the tape the sound level was quite high which lead to me recording it at some lower level to avoid clipping. Afterwards I grabbed a noise sample, reduced some hiss, used some slight EQ for more clarity and expanded the stereo width and dynamics a bit more. What I personally really like about this recording is how nicely the bass comes through.
There was some confusion about the date of the recording. The tape was labelled as "Irvine Meadows Amp., July 12th 1987" which can't be correct since that date was already after the Canadian shows and the band was playing the East Coast again at that point. Someone pointed me to the bootleg "Where's The Tape Man?" which is supposed to be this but is listed as being from the Long Beach Arena show in January. This couldn't be true since "I'd Die For You" had already taken the spot of "Breakout" and "Never Say Goodbye" the one of "Silent Night" - those changes were made in early March, respectively late May/early June. Furthermore Jon greets the audience as "Good Evening Irvine Meadows!" He talks about not having been there for about 2 years which leads me to the conclusion that it was the first show of their three-night stint. Alright, enough with the theories, just blast the show through your stereo!

06. CAREFUL WITH THAT AXE EUGENE 5:28 -- (fades out)
live from the Paris Cinema London concert (BBC archives July 16 1970)
I'm almost sure the tracks from the BBC broadcast comes from vinyl, not 100% sure anyway ... sound is very good but all the tracks comes from very common recordings available on many different editions and with a better sound quality too
limited edition with certification the CD case is a round can box containing the cd on a round sponge and a numbered warranty certificate (mine is 0010) no info about the date of release but I can remember I found that in a music shop (together with the RoIO Silence) around '93-'95 (and it was yet released surely not after 95, since then RoIOs got illegal here, while this release has the SIAE trademark on the certificate (if someone doesn’t know it yet, the SIAE is the society that monitors the artists’ copyrights here in Italy)

The band sounded amazing and the recording came out pretty good for the most part. Some talkers can be heard here and there between the songs and during some quiet parts. I arrived just in time to start recording but was not fully prepared and I started to record without mics, then I plugged mics in, so for the first minute or so of the first song the sound is a little uneven. Also, the mics came out before End of the Beginning and I noticed that at the end of Fairies Wear Boots so these 2 songs came out louder and with more bass. I adjusted the levels in Goldwave a little bit, all in all it is not too bad. Ozzy sounded pretty decent for the most part imo.

Show identifier - George says at the start "Hello Denver, Good evening" (Tr1 0:17).
The recording starts out as virtually unlistenable, with a tape mangle every five seconds or so. However, it improves as it continues. The midrange, particularly the horns, sounds clean and clear. However, there is some distortion in the bass, with hiss/crackling in the treble. The show itself is interesting. The playing seems quite lively and spirited. "For you Blue" features different lyrics at the start ("Because you're Colorado, I love you", I think).

"GodfatheRecords" is dead, long life to "Eat A Peach!"...
"GodfatheRecords" met during autumn 2014 huge problems in the Utrecht record fair and had to stop any activity since then.
That's why, they finally didn't release the initially scheduled "Songs Of 2014" from the I+E promo tour.
By the end, here is this expected bootleg under the name "Chasing Down A Dream" produced by the new label "Eat A Peach!".

This circulates pretty widely and is often described as being a soundboard. Not sure about that, but it is probably the finest of the 1981 live recordings. My version came to me via a tape trade in the early 80's from a guy in Detroit, so this is from a low-gen cassette.
This usually trades as March 1981, but I found a web site which lists a Jonathan show at Bookies on April 11, 1981, and has nothing listed for him for March. So, April 11 is probably the correct date for this.

The November 1981 partial doesn't circulate, at least to my knowledge.

A fantastic concert and a nice recording but the signal was exaggerated in the mid-range making it sound "hollow" or "boxy".
For this project the spectrum was reshaped following the Harmonic Balancing principle increasing clarity, depth and power. Multiple passes were performed to fine tune and reduce specific audio distresses. Spectrum analyzer plots of the original waveforms and then the Harmonic Balanced waveforms are included.
For one the harsh brittle sound of the raw recording has been minimized with this procedure. Another improvement is Roger's bass guitar sounds like one now.
A secondary issue was that this recording was plagued by a multitude of ticks, pops, scrapes, clunks and whispering. These distracting noises were removed and the loudest claps were reduced at the same time. All done as spot repairs so some of those pesky little noises may remain. You will probably never even notice them.
The results are a more pleasant sounding recording.
Speed and pitch verification by Professor Goody.
Thanks to the pervessor for all he does to improve our recordings.
Thanks should also go to Jerry (R.I.P.) and Rob who recorded and shared this tape with everyone.
And to Pink Floyd for blowing our minds back then.
